Trekking chile is based on the experience of the tourist guide and mountaineer Franz Schubert and the tourism entrepeneur Kathrein Splett, the founders of Turismo El Caminante und the Hotel Casa Chueca .Both of us have been living in Chile for several years, and we wanted to share our fascination with the rugged beauty Chile can offer to nature loving trekkers, climbers, and whitewater fans. Especially the central region is mostly overlooked by other guidebooks, which is a pity in our opinion.
