BusSur is a family company founded by Mr. AQUILINO SILVA OBANDO 19322005, who came from Loncoche to Punta Arenas to report for military service. Enraptured by this wonderful land, their people and friends, he continued to work day and night to save enough money to start working on the transport industry, buying trucks and then busses. Aquilino was also a country folk, who worked the land as his parents taught him when he was just a child. He came to own over a thousand heads of cattle, achieving, thanks to his wisdom, an outstanding development on the two most important industries in Magallanes: transport and stockbreeding.At a very young age, he and his son Carlos, a carrier of prestige in the region, worked together on this transport company, and because of their effort, perseverance and good standing with the people, they’ve been able to bring together thousands of families who travel with us every year, as well as tourists from around the world.
