Gayana Botanica, dedicated to the French naturalist Claude Gay, is a journal for the rapid publication of original research in all areas of the biology of plants and fungi. It is published by Ediciones de la Universidad de Concepción, Chile, and is the official organ of the Botanical Society of Chile. One volume appears annually, divided in two numbers. Gayana Botanica is indexed in Biological Abstracts, Cambridge Scientific Abstracts, Kew Records, BotanicoPeriodicumHuntianum, Index to American Botanical Literature and Ulrichs International Periodicals Directory.
