Claudia X. Valdes is an intermedia artist concerned primarily with issues of time, trauma, memory, perception and embodiment. She was born in Santiago, Chile. Her family moved to the United States when she 3 years old. Her undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley included architecture, modern dance and fine arts.
